Drell-Yan production in third-generation gauge vector leptoquark models at NLO+PS in QCD

A bstract Motivated by the long-standing hints of lepton-flavour non-universality in b ? c?? and s? + ? ? channels, we study Drell-Yan ditau production at Large Hadron Collider (LHC). In context models with third-generation gauge vector leptoquarks (LQs), calculate complete $$ \mathcal{O} O ( ? s ) corrections to pp ? process, achieving next-to-leading order (NLO) plus parton shower (NLO+PS) accuracy using POWHEG method. We provide a dedicated Monte Carlo code that evaluates NLO QCD on-the-fly event generation use it numerical impact NLO+PS on kinematic distributions enter existing experimental searches for non-resonant final states. Based our phenomenological analysis derive accurate constraints masses couplings LQs latest LHC search results corresponding an integrated luminosity around 140 fb 1 proton-proton collisions \sqrt{s} s = 13 TeV. The presented generator allows improved signal modelling, making essential tool future ATLAS CMS states Run III beyond.
